Paper and cardboard

Due to the high environmental costs of obtaining new raw material, paper recycling is one of the most beneficial activities for our environment. At ACTECO, we are aware of this fact and, for that reason, we work hard to select, shred and process paper in order to facilitate its recycling and reuse.

Cardboard recycling can result in important advantages, since each ton of recycled cardboard can save 140 litres of fuel, 50’000 litres of water, two sq. mt. of landfill space and 900kg of carbon dioxide as opposed to the same amount of cardboard obtained from raw materials.
